The overarching goal of Clinic by the Bay is to improve access to comprehensive, quality health care for the region's working uninsured, while providing meaningful opportunities for volunteerism and civic engagement. To do so, our volunteer recruitment process helps us ensure that individuals' core skills are matched directly with our organizational needs while optimizing your volunteer experience overall.

We’ve outlined the steps for becoming a volunteer at our clinic so you know what to expect in the process, from completing an application to working your first shift.

Our volunteer orientation and trainings are scheduled throughout the year, and participation is by invitation only. Volunteer orientation sessions will take place in 2012 on these dates:
